The interesting Naval Museum, in the Castello area of Venice, houses many
artefacts rescued from well-known ships, and also exhibits some elaborate
gondolas and a wealth of nautical memorabilia.
Venice's Naval Museum
features four floors of displays, including detailed models of gunboats, lagoon
craft and boats. One of the most impressive attractions at the Naval Museum is
the enormous model of the famous naval ship Bucintoro, which was built in
1728.
