A place were I can write...

Boston..
Of course I think most people heard of the bomb blast in Boston yesterday, a terrible thing and I am sure it will turn out to be an internal-disgruntle American upset about taxes and gun control. But I also have to think of all the other people in the world, who experience events like this on an almost daily basis. Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, and all the other places in the world that are struggling with conflict. Not to lessen anything about Boston, but Americans don't seem to think much about the other places in the world, they probably don't even connect the dots as to the similarities to these other places in the world. It is a terrible thing, and of course it will do nothing to change any situation, senseless violence never solves anything. But then there is no such thing as justified violence. It proves nothing, changes nothing, and in the end just perpetuates the violence. My heart goes out to Boston, but also Iraq, Afghanistan, and Syria.
