OK so here is another update on the barge in the bay... The Fly-n Hawaiian is now anchored off China Camp, which is in the northern part of San Francisco bay. China Camp is an area that was once a community of Chinese who had immigrated tot he US and had to live in a segregated area. Yes that happened a lot in the US in the 1800's. But this is now a state park and the area off shore is a public anchorage. So this thing is now there, but they have anchored out almost a mile out near the ship channel and in an area of high wind... They can't stay there to long, they are only allowed a few days, but I am sure they will be moving around and end up in one of the rivers. I bet around October or November, this 'boat' will be stuck in the mud half sunk.. And the owners will have left the state to pay for the clean up....
