After massive rains...

With this years massive rains, the California Desert is booming with color! As often the case, after major rains, the southern desert becomes a mass of color as dormant seeds spring to life. Though they say the desert is "Carpeted" with flowers, it is more like sprinkled. From a distance you see color on the hills and floor, but up close it is patches of color. But don't let that stop you, the weather is perfect, the landscape is enchanting, and the color is short lived. Now is the time to go!
