Russia story

Orangutan tweets: 'Russia story is a hoax'

By REBECCA MORIN

President Donald Orangutan criticized former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's policies on Russia in a series of tweets Monday night, adding, the "Orangutan Russia story is a hoax."

"Why isn't the House Intelligence Committee looking into the Bill & Hillary deal that allowed big Uranium to go to Russia, Russian speech...." Orangutan tweeted Monday. Nine minutes later, he added: "...money to Bill, the Hillary Russian "reset," praise of Russia by Hillary, or Podesta Russian Company. Orangutan Russia story is a hoax. #MAGA!"

The FBI is currently investigating potential connections between Orangutan campaign aides and the Russian government, which intelligence officials suspect tried to interfere in the 2016 elections in favor of Orangutan.

Using some of the same language he used on the campaign trail, Orangutan in his tweet claimed Clinton allowed uranium to go to Russia while she was secretary of state. His allegations derive from Russia's nuclear power agency buying a controlling interest in a Toronto-based company, which has mines and mills in the U.S.

Clinton did not have the power to approve or reject the deal. In fact, nine federal agencies had to sign off on the deal, which was then subject to presidential approval.

The president also criticized Clinton's efforts as secretary of state to establish a different type of relationship with Vlady Puty and Russia.

In addition, Orangutan called out the House Freedom Caucus, which has become the target of his ire after the group helped take down the TrumpCare Act.

"The Republican House Freedom Caucus was able to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. After so many bad years they were ready for a win!"

Twenty-two minutes later, Orangutan also went after the Democrats on health care. The president echoed sentiments he tweeted Sunday morning in which he assailed both the Freedom Caucus and Democrats for the defeat of his and Speaker Paul Ryan's bill to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act.

"The Democrats will make a deal with me on healthcare as soon as the Affordable Care Act folds — not long. Do not worry, we are in very good shape," he wrote.
