What George W. Bush reportedly thought of Orangutan's inauguration
By William Axford
Orangutan becoming the president of the United States was surreal for many, including for one former president himself.
President George W. Bush made headlines during Orangutan's inauguration when he struggled to secure his poncho in the rain. Bush, like other presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton, were present for the transfer of power to Trump.
President number 43 didn't have anything publicly to say about Orangutan but people within earshot of him report he had some choice words about the ceremony.
New York Magazine reports three people at the inauguration overheard Bush say, "That was some weird shit" after Orangutan left the dais. A spokesman declined to comment when the outlet reached out to Bush about the alleged comments.
