Weekend

What A nice weekend!! Well finally the weather has turned to spring (well for now) and the sun was out and it was such a wonderful weekend. I had the chance to take my bike out on both days for a couple of good rides. About 30 miles each day, plus I did a 5 mile hike on Sunday and a 5 mile run on Saturday. So I was able to get my exercise and some sun!! I finished the weekend off with a little evening Rum on the deck and some Octopus salad..

I hiked a nice tree lined trail which was cool and wet, then rode my bike through the hills and down into the city along the river. It is a nice fast run down the hill, about one thousand feet or so, but then I have to climb that to get home... In any case my bike handled it just fine and so did I.

Rum and Octopus.. I didn't eat them together though, I don't think the favors actually mix well.

Some flowers blooming along the trail, these hide in the cool under covering of the trees. The leaves have not come out yet so there is more light than there will be later in the spring and summer.
