Only in San Francisco...

A slick track didn’t deter the racers of Bring Your Own Big Wheel on Sunday. Outfitted in costumes and rain gear, or both, they took to Vermont Street in San Francisco’s Portero Hill for the annual running of the big wheels.

If you don't know what a Big Wheel is, it is a riding three wheel 'toy' cycle that kids ride. They where very popular back in the 1970's and 80's. They can still be found in many forms. The street was the famous winding and twisting hill street in town and with a little rain, the ride was quite slick. Of course the funny thing is to have a small cycle and a big rider. For America, it isn't hard to find 'big' riders, but most of the cycles are for kids so they are small in general.
