Ukraine has conducted its "biggest attack" on Russian airfields since the war began, a security source says

Ukraine has conducted its “biggest attack” on Russian airfields since the war began, with drones targeting four Russian airfields overnight, a source at the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) told CNN on Wednesday. 

The SBU source told CNN the attack was a joint operation between various arms of the Ukraine’s defense, including the SBU, Air Force and Special Forces.

The source also said airfields in Russian cities of Voronezh, Kursk, Savasleyka and Borisoglebsk were targeted.

Earlier, the Ukrainian Air Force destroyed a Russian Su-34 fighter jet in the Kursk region, according to a statement by the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
