Is Beyoncé coming to the DNC? No one will say.
The floor is packed. It's hard to get in. Security won't talk.

The floor is absolutely slammed on night four — people have filled the walkways for the last couple of hours, but it’s feeling even tighter as the night goes on. Seats are limited and people standing are holding in place so they don’t lose their spots. But energy is high, with Democrats often on their feet cheering on the speakers. And those Beyoncé rumors? They’re only ramping up as we get closer to the 9 p.m. hour.
But no one will say exactly what is going to happen. Even those on the Harris campaign could not say for sure whether Beyoncé would make an appearance ahead of Harris' acceptance speech. Though Democratic officials sought to tamp down the rumors throughout much of the day, a campaign official on Thursday evening would not confirm whether the singer would — or would not — show up.
A well-placed person inside the convention hall and granted anonymity to discuss plans not yet public, said there would be "multiple" celebrity appearances before Harris takes the stage.
Things in the 300-level press stands are getting tense as the crowds inside the United Center are becoming difficult to control. Seating reserved for reporters are being taken up by guests who are aggressively saving empty seats for friends and family. People are resorting to squatting on stairs and hungrily pouncing for any unoccupied chairs — the eye rolls upon being told someone "just went to use the toilet" can be heard reverberating across this section of the arena.
Law enforcement providing security for the convention when asked about reporting from TMZ that said Beyoncé would appear at the DNC said in a statement: "The Department cannot confirm that information at this time."
