In the 70,000 acres of the Point Reyes National Seashore are more than 150 miles of trails (some open to horses); it would be a crime not to explore a few. The steep 5-mile Mt. Wittenberg Loop starts at the Bear Valley trailhead, winds through meadows and forests, and leads to the park’s highest point (1,407 feet).
