A place were I can write...

My simple blog of pictures of travel, friends, activities and the Universe we live in as we go slowly around the Sun.

So you may have read the early posts on the 'Sink'n Hawaiian' in San Rafael Ca. Well he was to have moved the monster yesterday but from reports it is still sitting at a dock where it has been for the last few weeks. Some new pictures show the 'boat' and what most are saying is that it seems the water is starting to deform the hulls. But of course this 'baot' is so "wrong" that it seems impossible that it will ever actually sail. If you look at the pictures and see the rigging, you will notice the radar mast and wind generator are forwards and in the way of the jib. It would be very hard if not impossible to sail using a jib since the sheets (lines) would get tangled by the masts. Also still no visibility from the steering station or steering at all since the rudders are not properly connected.

The seams seem to be more pronounced and the tap at the joints seem to be pulling apart. Remember he built this thing with standard construction materials used in building a house, no marine grade materials or epoxy coatings. It must be very wet inside by now, I am surprised he isn't pumping water out yet. In any case, we will have to wait to see where he goes.
