Some more updates on the Sink'n Hawaiian

As some have read in previous posts, that 65 foot cat the "Fly'n Hawaiian" or the 'Sink'n Hawaiian' is still at the dock in San Rafael. They were to move it last Friday but the marina gave them a break and they got another week to work out the move. The thing is the marina is way in from the main ship channel and there is a very long channel cut through the mud to get out. In most cases, the wind and tide make staying in the channel hard, even with a good motor. The "Hawaiian" has a small outboard and is huge, the wind will really move it around. Also the rudders are small and will be ineffective. Most people say they will get 100 yards out of the marina before they get pushed into the mud and will block the channel. The boat isn't built to with stand a lot of bouncing and twisting, they may pot a seam and that will be it. The guy has no money and from most peoples view is that the boat will be on land in peaces by the next day. So the 19th is the new moving day, will have to see what happens....
