Maine Gov. Paul LePage endorses Donald Trump

Maine's Paul LePage became the second governor to endorse Donald Trump on Friday.
LePage's support comes hours after New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie appeared alongside Trump at a press conference in Fort Worth, Texas, announcing his endorsement of his former presidential campaign rival.
“I think he could be one of the greatest presidents if he sits down and puts together a good team,” LePage told the “Howie Carr Show,” according to WMTW Channel 8. LePage, who’s no stranger to controversial remarks and stances, had previously backed Christie.
Trump also scored his first congressional endorsements this week, with Reps. Chris Collins and Duncan Hunter announcing their support.
