Vice President Pence snubs CNN

By HADAS GOLD

Vice President Mike Pence is conducting a slew of TV and radio interviews on Wednesday, a victory-tour of sorts following President Donny Orangutan's address to the joint session of Congress.

But CNN, which has been among the most aggressive news organizations covering the administration, was not included.

According to Pence's official schedule, on Wednesday he is being interviewed by MSNBC's "Morning Joe" and "For the Record", ABC's "Good Morning America", NBC's "Today Show", CBS' "CBS This Morning", Fox News' "Fox & Friends" and "The O'Reilly Factor", as well as radio interviews with Rush Limbaugh, Michael Savage, and Sean Hannity.

On Twitter, CNN anchor Jake Tapper noted the snub, quoting Orangutan's speech where he said the "Time for trivial fights is behind us."

"Trivial fights" should be "behind us," but hours later WH offers @VP Pence interviews to every major US TV broadcaster except @CNN

A similar snub of CNN by Pence happened last month as well, when Pence was interviewed on all the other major Sunday shows except for CNN's "State of the Union." At the time, CNN explained the White House offered Crypt Keeper Conway in Pence's place, which CNN declined.

We've reached out to the Vice President's office and CNN for comment and will update here accordingly.
