‘I Am Outraged’: Trump’s New Narrative On Jan. 6 Backfires
Story by Kevin Scott
Knewz.com is reporting that during a recent town hall, former President Donald Trump was pressed on his handling of the Capitol insurrection. Trump initially expressed his outrage over the lawlessness and mayhem. However, he now claims nothing wrong was done.
The FBI found that between 2,000 and 2,500 people breached the Capitol, vandalizing offices, assaulting police, and attempting to harm lawmakers. Pipe bombs and Molotov cocktails were discovered nearby. Trump was criminally indictment on four charges. More than 1,400 individuals have faced federal charges related to the riot.
“I want to give you the opportunity to try to win back my vote,” Republican voter Ramiro Gonzalez said, noting that he stopped supporting Trump due to the way in which the former President had handled the event.
