Bush super PAC hammers Trump on getting military advice from 'the shows'

The top super PAC backing Jeb Bush on Monday released a new ad bashing Donald Trump for his past comment that he gets his military advice from watching "the shows."
Titled, appropriately, "The Shows," the one-minute spot features soundbites from Bush calling Trump a "chaos candidate" who would be a "chaos president" from last week's debate.
The video also features clips from past interviews with Trump, including one from September in which he advocated for letting ISIL and Syria duke it out in the Middle East and another from 2007 in which he praised Hillary Clinton's negotiating skills in a potential nuclear deal with Iran. In both instances, Trump is shown on a split screen during Tuesday's debate shaking his head or otherwise indicating incredulity.
At the center of the spot's argument is Trump's interview with NBC's "Meet the Press" in August, in which Chuck Todd asked the Republican candidate where he turned for his military information.
"Well, I watch the shows," Trump said, remarking upon the generals and officials who appear on political talk shows.
"I don't know if that's Saturday morning or Sunday morning," Bush said last week, echoing a line that his campaign has resurrected of late.
Over video of the former governor of Florida shaking hands with veterans, the ad plays Bush's line from the Dec. 15 debate in which he pledged to be "a commander in chief, not an agitator in chief or a divider in chief," and that he would "lead this country in a way that will create greater security and greater safety."
