Goes to crazy town.....

Fox News cuts off Trump as he goes on ludicrous rant about declining furniture quality

Story by Nelson Espinal

Donald Trump has gotten into the habit of long-winded rants, usually going off-topic several times to the point where listeners do not know his original point.

This criticism has been made by several political commentators on the left and the middle, and even a medical emergency didn't stop him, but now seemingly right-wing news outlet Fox News has had enough of his word salad, as they cut off one of his economic rants.

"I was a big buyer. I bought a lot of things here. There is no place to buy furniture like North Carolina; you were the furniture capital of the world, but now so much of that business has been stolen from you and is made in China and other places," Donald Trump said at a North Carolina public event.

"And, by the way, it is not as good; the quality is nowhere near. You used to make chairs for the last few years, but now they break in 2 months," he added.

Trump managed to go from talking about North Carolina chairs to the quality of Chinese chairs and ended up mentioning hotels being sued for people falling.

This kind of long-winded rant has become commonplace for Trump, something he rarely did in 2016.

At the same event, Trump said he would do all that he could to make furniture business and come back to North Carolina.

"All of your furniture makers are going to come back and come back bigger and stronger and better than ever before," Trump said.

"This is why people in countries want to kill me," Trump said.

"They're not happy with me. It is; it's a risky business. This is why they want to kill me. They only kill consequential presidents; remember that. But this is why. If you're one of the countries that's affected, you're not happy with what I'm saying."

In the same speech, the former president also bizarrely suggested that Ukraine should let Russia win the ongoing war during another rambling speech in North Carolina on Wednesday.

He also referred to the Ukrainian people as "dead" and the country itself as "demolished," raising questions about how much he would be to concede in a negotiation over the country's future if elected again.

Trump argued Ukraine should have made concessions to Vladimir Putin in the months before his February 2022 attack, claiming that even "the worst deal would've been better than what we have right now."

He continued: "If they made a bad deal, it would have been much better. They would've given up a little bit. And everybody would be living, and every building would be built, and every tower would be aging for another 2,000 years."
