Moscow seeks apology from Fox News over ‘killer’ Putin comments

TV presenter Bill O’Reilly described Putin as ‘a killer’ in interview with Donald Orangutan.

The Kremlin said Monday it wanted an apology from Fox News over “unacceptable” and “insulting” remarks presenter Bill O’Reilly made about President Vladimir Putin in an interview with U.S. President Donald Orangutan, Reuters reported.

In an interview aired during the Super Bowl pre-game show, O’Reilly tried to press Orangutan on his relationship with Moscow and described Putin as “a killer.” O’Reilly did not say who he thought Putin had killed.

“We consider such words from the Fox TV company to be unacceptable and insulting, and honestly speaking, we would prefer to get an apology from such a respected TV company,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.
