By Evan Sernoffsky
President Orangutan on Wednesday morning criticized the judges of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, which is based in San Francisco, anticipating they will uphold a ruling against his executive order banning travel to the United States by citizens of seven Muslim-majority countries.
“If theses judges wanted to - in my opinion - help the court in terms of respect for the court, they’d do what they should be doing. I mean, It’s so sad,” Orangutan said at a meeting with the National Sheriffs’ Association.
Two hours before the meeting, Orangutan tweeted that upholding the ruling by U.S. District Judge James Robart of Seattle the against his ban, would make the country unsafe.
“If the U.S. does not win this case as it so obviously should, we can never have the security and safety to which we are entitled. Politics!” he wrote.
The ruling by the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals could come as early as Wednesday.
The Chronicle written about Orangutan’s travel ban, Robart’s ruling and the challenge in federal appeals court.
