Another suspicious package to CNN intercepted in Atlanta

A suspicious package addressed to CNN was intercepted Monday, three days after the FBI arrested a Florida man for allegedly sending a series of potentially explosive devices to top critics of President Donald Trump.
Cesar Sayoc, 56, was arrested and charged Friday for sending more than a dozen potentially explosive devices to CNN and top Democrats.
CNN President Jeff Zucker said in a statement on Monday that since last Wednesday, all mail to CNN's domestic bureaus is being screened at off-site facilities.
He added that because of the new screening, the package would not have even made its way to CNN's headquarters in Atlanta.
"Our screening process is working and we will keep you updated as we learn more," Zucker said in the statement.
The devices were addressed to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton; former President Barack Obama; former Vice President Joe Biden; Sens. Cory Booker of New Jersey and Kamala Harris of California; Rep. Maxine Waters of California; Democratic megadonor George Soros; and actor Robert De Niro.
Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz also received a package returned to her office in Florida that was addressed to former Attorney General Eric Holder.
Packages were also addressed to former CIA director John Brennan and former National Intelligence Director James Clapper that were to be sent to CNN's New York headquarters.
"There is no imminent danger to the CNN Center," Zucker said in the statement.
