Trump calls out Gavin Newsom during Montana rally, Newsom responds

President Donald Trump took a shot at California gubernatorial candidate Gavin Newsom during a rally in Montana on Thursday night.
When discussing the Democratic party, Trump mentioned Newsom's controversial proposal to have California pay for universal health care for state's undocumented immigrant population.
"How about the governor, governorship of California," Trump said in an attempt to refer to Newsom. "He just announced that he wants to open borders, and he wants to let anybody come in that wants to. And then he wants to pay for all medical, all school."
Trump then predicted that California would swell to the size of 500 million people.
"What happens, I said, if the entire world decides to go to California because they get free health care, free medical care and free education," the president said. "California has just increased in size to 500 million people. I may even move to California to get free health care!"
"Hey, @realDonaldTrump -- Next time you call me and my policies out, have the guts to @ me and we can have a chat," he tweeted.
The former mayor of San Francisco discussed his policy last week on the "Pod Save America" podcast.
"I did universal healthcare when I was mayor, fully implemented, regardless of pre-existing condition, ability to pay, and regardless of your immigration status," Newsom said. "I'd like to see that extended to the rest of the state."
The proposal received a good deal attention from conservative outlets including Fox News, the Daily Caller and Breitbart.
