Trump calls off historic meeting with Kim Jong Un

President Donald Trump canceled his summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un on Thursday, writing in a letter that the historic gathering “will not take place” on June 12 in Singapore as scheduled.
“Sadly, based on the tremendous anger and open hostility displayed in your most recent statement, I feel it is inappropriate, at this time, to have this long-planned meeting,” Trump wrote to Kim in a letter released by the White House.
