Volvo Ocean Race stop 2

After a long trip from Cape Town to Abu Dhabi, from wet & cold to hot & dry, the boats now take some time off at the local yacht SPA. As the boats arrive, they are pulled for maintenance and repair, the crews also get some of the same... After the long slog up from Cape Town, the crews are enjoying some dry warm time. Of course this Leg 2 saw the grounding of Team Vesta and the loss of the boat, but fortunately the crew made it off.

After 23 days, 16 hours and 25 minutes, leg 2 met its winner. Team Brunel took first, closely followed by Dongfeng Race Team & Abu Dhabi Ocean Racing in third place.
