Abu Dhabi Ocean Racing wins Leg 1 of the VOR!!!

 The winners are now enjoying some dry land time in Cape Town South Africa. The other boats are slogging their way down and over to the southern tip of the continent.

After some well needed repairs and re-provisioning, the fleet will head out for the roaring 40's in the southern ocean.

Leg 2 will bring the fleet to Abu Dhabi, not the boat but the country. The fleet will swing around the cape and head north up the Indian Ocean. Leg 3 is a hope to China, then down around to Auckland New Zealand.

Team SCA, the first all-female crew to enter the race in more than a decade is still last but they are charging to the finish.
