Multiple people shot during Juneteenth celebration in Oakland

Multiple people were shot during a Juneteenth celebration near Lake Merritt in Oakland on Wednesday night, police confirmed Wednesday night.
No fatalities have been reported.
An Oakland Police Department spokesperson describing the events that led to the gunfire said the celebration, which had as many as 5,000 people in attendance, was interrupted by a sideshow involving "motorbikes and vehicles" at Grand and Bellevue avenues about 8:15 p.m.
At some point, a fight began down the street from the sideshow, attracting a crowd onlookers.
"During that fight, multiple shots rang out," said Paul Chambers, the OPD's strategic communications manager. He added that the shooting happened about 8:45 p.m.
