ProPublica report highlights Kimberly Guilfoyle's alleged role on Jan. 6

Kimberly Guilfoyle, the former first lady of San Francisco turned Trump-world fundraiser, reportedly bragged about raising $3 million for the Jan. 6 "Save America" rally that immediately preceded the Capitol riot.
ProPublica reviewed text messages sent from Guilfoyle to Katrina Pierson, another Trump campaign advisor, on Jan. 4. The text messages were presumably obtained after Pierson was served with a subpoena by a House select committee investigating the riots.
In the messages, Guilfoyle reportedly "expressed specific concerns that she might not be allowed to speak on stage" to introduce her boyfriend Donald Trump Jr. due to the lengthy list of speakers who pushed debunked claims that widespread voter fraud changed the outcome of the 2020 presidential election.
ProPublica reports that Guilfoyle noted to Pierson that she "raised so much money for this" and added, "Literally one of my donors Julie at 3 million,” a reference to Publix supermarket heiress Julie Jenkins Fancelli. It's not clear if Fancelli did donate to the rally. Guilfoyle's attorney denied to ProPublica that the text was related to the "Save America" rally that was held in D.C. before rioters stormed the Capitol.
Guilfoyle's fundraising chops had previously been called into question. In the days immediately following the conclusion of the 2020 election, GOP operatives complained to Politico that Guilfoyle "underperformed and was an HR nightmare," alleging that she "frequently joked about her sex life and, at one fundraiser, offered a lap dance to the donor who gave the most money."
Currently, Guilfoyle is serving as a co-chair for the Senate campaign of former Missouri Gov. Eric Greitens, a candidate whose record is so controversial Trump himself is reportedly questioning why Guilfoyle is working for him
