Ivanka Trump claims question on her father's accusers is 'inappropriate'

White House senior adviser Ivanka Trump on Monday criticized a reporter for asking about women who have accused her father President Donald Trump of sexual misconduct — claiming it's an "inappropriate question to ask a daughter."
During an interview with NBC News, the president's daughter was asked by reporter Peter Alexander whether she believes her the women who have accused her father of sexual misconduct.
Trump called the question "inappropriate," adding that she didn't "think that's a question you'd ask many other daughters."
"I think it's a pretty inappropriate question to ask a daughter if she believes the accusers of her father when he's affirmatively stated that there's no truth to it," she continued. "I believe my father. I know my father. So I think I have that right as a daughter to believe my father."
The president has been accused by at least 16 women of allegations of sexual misconduct, to which he has vehemently denied.
Ivanka Trump's accusation has come under fire by reporters and across Twitter because she holds an official White House title as senior adviser. The interview was also conducted during her trip to the closing ceremonies at the 2018 Winter Olympics, where she led the U.S. delegations.
She faced some blowback for her comments.
