Trump of forcing himself...

Reporter accuses Donald Trump of forcing himself on her

By Kelsey Sutton

People magazine on Wednesday published a first-person account by former beat writer Natasha Stoynoff accusing Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump of forcing himself on her during an interview at the Trump-owned Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, Florida.

She alleged the assault took place in December 2005, in the middle of an interview and photoshoot with Trump and his third wife, Melania, for their first wedding anniversary.

“When we took a break for the then very-pregnant Melania to go upstairs and change wardrobe for more photos, Donald wanted to show me around the mansion,” she wrote. “There was one ‘tremendous' room in particular … We walked into that room alone, and Trump shut the door behind us. I turned around, and within seconds, he was pushing me against the wall, and forcing his tongue down my throat.”

Afterwards, Trump, she said, told her, “You know we’re going to have an affair, don’t you?” … “We’re going to have an affair, I’m telling you.”

Stoynoff said she informed a colleague of what had happened, and asked to be taken off the Trump beat.

A spokeswoman for Trump said that Stoynoff’s account was “fabricated." In the first version of the published story, the spokeswoman also asked why People had not reported the account sooner, seeing as "Trump was the biggest star on television and surely this would have been a far bigger scoop for People Magazine."

In an updated version of the article, those comments have been removed.

Stoynoff’s account was the fifth story published Wednesday involving women who said Trump had touched or kissed them inappropriately and without their consent.
