London Olympics

With less than two weeks to go, I know what it is like for the London Olympics people. An amazing amount of work goes in at the last few weeks. All the TV and athletes start to come, all the equipment and all the support material. The venues have to be ready to accept these things and if they are not finished, it throws everything off schedule. Security of course is all the news now, I see Athens mentioned a lot, but the military is always there. In Salt Lake the US sent the army and National Guard in. Thousands of troops were in the area of Salt Lake though it was never really mentioned. The visible security is what people are talking about, the behind the scene stuff is there already. It will be interesting to see how it unfolds.
