10,000th post.

This is a milestone in this blog, the 10,000th entry. When I started writing this blog a few years ago, I was just planning to publish some things that I was doing, some photos of the places I lived, some work experiences, and some personal views. In these years of posting, a number of major personal events happened which had a major affect on me, this blog reflected that by me changing my focus.

I have been lately post more stories on political and environmental causes and events, sailing, some space based news, a little bit of satire, some photos of beautiful women and a few personal experiences. When I start to post I didn't think anyone would really care about what I personally did, I am no more important than anyone else. But I decided to focus on news that is important, on stories about the environment, politics and of little bit of what I like, namely sailing and space travel/astronomy.

I have hoped that everyone who looks at this blog and reads some of the stories learns something nd appreciates the world we live in, understand that we people are drastically changing the environment and putting enormous pressure on the other lives forms that share our world. We don't own the world, we are part of it. The world is not in danger, we are. Humans have walked this world for a very short time, yet we are destroying it at a faster rate than ever. Most people are blind to what we do or they simple don't care. Petty political and religious views dominate and control this world and all of us, I reality, these views are meaning less. One day we will all be gone, there will be no more religion or politics. Our entire endeavor on this planet will be destroyed. Only a few space craft traveling in interstellar space will be left to mark that humans once lived in the universe. Everything we do is quite irrelevant in the grand scheme of things, we should be happy we are alive at all, we should be happy to just exist.
